Elevate Your November Dining with Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Dulce da Isla Glaze

Our November Featured Recipe is a cozy sweet and savory dish that tastes like a warm island hug. Perfect for the holidays or any meal that needs a touch of sunshine.


Ingredients:


  • 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled, and cut into cubes

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 1/2 tsp of Dulce da Isla spice blend

  • 1 tsp orange zest for a citrus twist

  • Pinch of salt and pepper


Glaze:

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1/2 tsp of Dulce da Isla spice blend

  • 1 tbsp orange juice


Instructions:


  1. Preheat the oven to 400*F (200*C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato cubes with olive oil, Dulce da Isla, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet.

  4. Roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and caramelized.

  5. While the sweet potatoes roast, make the glaze:

    - In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.

    - Add honey, orange juice, and Dulce da Isla spice blend.

  6. Once the sweet potatoes are done, drizzle with the warm glaze and toss gently.

  7. Sprinkle a bit of citrus zest on top is desired and serve hot.
