Brazilian Brigadeiros with a Dulce da Isla Twist!



Our December Featured Recipe is a festive take on the classic Brazilian Brigadeiros and adding a unique fusion with our signature Dulce da Isla blend, bringing gentle island warmth, comforting spices, and a holiday-ready depth of flavor.


Ingredients:


  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1/2 tsp Dulce da Isla blend (to taste)

  • Chocolate sprinkles, shredded coconut, and cocoa powder for coating




Instructions:

  1. In a non-stick saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, and Dulce da Isla. Stir continuously.

  2. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring the constantly, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan. When a spatula dragged across the ottoman leaves a clean line, its ready.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a lightly buttered plate or bowl. Allow it to cool completely for about 30 minutes.

  4. Light butter your hands. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a smooth ball.

  5. Roll each in your desired coating. Place in a mini cupcake liners and enjoy!
